Quinn Batley – Taking on the big man

Quinn Batley – Taking on the big man

A zine by Quinn Batley, a member of the New York skate crew HOMIES and an up-and-coming photographer.

This volume documents the HOMIES members and associates with whom the author spends his daily time, featuring thermal label stickers — which he uses when creating his collages — affixed throughout the pages.

'I often make collage prototypes by printing photos onto thermal print stickers – the kind used for shipping labels, chosen for being cheap and readily available. This time, I used that method to make a whole book. Or so I say, but really, I just wanted to share my mates' photos with everyone.'

Limited edition of 150 copies.

24 pages, 14 × 19.5 cm, saddle-stitched zine, SALT AND PEPPER (Tokyo).
